Baritex has been a proud Canadian family owned and run Company for over 50 years, It was established by Barry Slater in 1973. Baritex’s first focus was on the textile industry and was integral in helping to develop a Washable, flameproof wool used for airline seat covers. For the past 35 years Baritex has focused solely on supporting the needs of the Airline and Rail industry in Canada. Our evolution has included supporting our customers with repairs, galley solutions, catering equipment, as well as seat fabric.

Over the past 15 years we have focused soley on supplying cabin catering equipment to the major Airlines, OEM’s and Rail companies in Canada. Baritex has a reputation for supplying quality equipment through our exclusive partnership with Driessen Cabin Catering, we also pride ourselves on excellent customer service, meeting the needs of large and small companies throughout Canada.
